Especially near the end of pregnancy. You’re feeling bloated, hungry but not hungry, uncomfortable, tired, sleepy, and maybe a little grumpy.
I didn’t learn about Oh Baby Boxes until I was late in my third trimester, feeling all those feels I wrote above, but receiving my first box was magical! It was like Christmas in March. Of course my baby beat my box here, but the contents were still perfect.
When you sign up for Oh Baby Boxes, you will get a box tailored to your due date, even postpartum! Each box is intended to pamper you (which it does) and help you feel good (which it really does). Believe me; they do pamper, and they did make me feel good. I love the contents of my first box and am excited for more!
You can do month to month, 3 month prepay or 6 month prepay. Either way, the boxes start at $39.99 and include over $100 of goodies in them! Can’t say no to a pampering deal like that! Each box comes with a guide. The guide describes each item, their social media outlets, and some facts about pregnancy and postnatal care.
So go sign up! The link to the Oh Baby Boxes website can be found below, as well as a list of the goodies I found in mine!
I had been home with my new born for a week when one day my husband walked in and said “There’s a box for you!” Lo and behold, it was my first Oh Baby Box! I was excited to see what was inside. This is what I found.
Below you will find a description, picture, and review of each item.
Description: This shampoo contains purely natural ingredients. Such as Coconut Derived Surfactants, Macadamia, Bergamont, Licorce, and some other stuff. It works for all hair types and has a smell that takes me to one of my happy places.
Review: I live in Montana, right near Yellowstone National Park. It is dry, and the dryness is not kind to hair. My hair breaks easily. I have been using this shampoo for a few weeks now, and I LOVE IT! My hair feels and looks healthier. It’s great!
Description: This body scrub contains charcoal that is used to remove dead skin and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Plus it hydrates to boot!
Review: I’ve never been one to use body scrubs, but I am now! As a new mom, I am usually covered in spit up or pee. Now, when I get in the shower, I have this glorious body scrub to make me feel all shiny and new, again.
Description: This bag can be used for a number of purpose. It can hold a number of things! Such as groceries, books, snacks…All the goods. It’s made of 100% cotton. It also matches everything!
Review: A week after we had our baby, we had to admit him to the hospital. I was able to stay with him. It wasn’t a fun experience, but my husband brought me this tote full of little goodies to help me feel better. And it did.
Description: Pregnancy and postpartum comes with it’s fair share of emotions and can be a touch overwhelming. And sometimes, your self-love takes a dip.
You need love from yourself as much as from others. Self-love allows you not only to see your true self, but to accept yourself wholeheartedly. With this acceptance comes the freedom and confidence to live your life to its fullest.

Review: A little known fact about me is that I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. Because of that, I am a huge fan of these kinds of work books! During pregnancy, self-love runs a little thin, so this book is a huge blessing. Let’s be honest, postpartum comes with it’s own set of self-love trials, too.
Description: Our society has spent hundreds of years convincing women that pregnancy and birth are ugly, nasty, painful, and simply the worst. Which it’s not and why affirmations are so important! These cards help dispel these lies and empower women through this beautiful process.
Review: Before our baby was born, we took a six week hypnobirthing class. If you don’t know what that is, look it up. A big part of hypnobirthing is positive affirmations. These cards match my birthing mentality perfectly, and I am so grateful that I have them for my next pregnancy!
Description: Pomegranate is super high in antioxidants. This all natural, vegan, regenerating sleeping mask leaves the skin feeling as soft as a babies bottom! And I would know, because I have a new baby who has a very soft bottom.
Review: This is another magical item for us mountain dwellers. My face is often dried out and struggling, and this mask makes my face feel all shiny and new…like a babies bottom!
Description: Pregnancy/mom brain is a real condition. These little sticky notes will help keep your head on straight, your thoughts in order, and a little smile on your face with the wonderful designs and colors.
Review: These are cute. Even my husband uses them because he’s just as baby brained as I am! During these first newborn months, we need to write things down to remember them. Not only, that but they are super frickin’ cute and make random parts of our house light up!
Description: Breakouts happen often during and after pregnancy. Which makes these little miracle workers magnificent. They’re infused with Salicylic Acid, Volcanic Ash and Tea Tree Oil. This helps reduce redness and absorb extra oils. Plus, they help me avoid the picking of the face habit.
Review: I was definitely the most skeptical of this item. Only because I lack faith in things like this, but I was in for quite a surprise! These are great because they’re not super noticeable, you don’t feel them when they’re on, and they actually work!
So if you’re pregnant, a new mom or know someone who is either, I would suggest purchasing this box. It’ll make you, or them, feel beautiful, pampered, and happy. And who doesn’t want that?
